It is exciting to hear about friends and SharePoint Experts as they begin the journey East. Everyone is excited about the Asia Sharing the Point Tour. Last week I was in New Orleans presenting at a SharePoint Saturday and we received lots of great feedback from experts who are cheering our efforts. The tweets on Twitter are picking up and you one can sense the growing excitement and anticipation.
Our group is starting to arrive in Australia today. I am writing this post from the Air New Zealand lounge at LAX, anxiously waiting to meet up with SharePoint experts tomorrow. The first presentations will be at the Australia SharePoint conference. Michael Noel and Joel Oleson are fresh off a recent trip to South Africa. Hearing the stories about the community efforts in that part of the worked will be motivating.
We travel to China on Wednesday. This will be a whirlwind tour. Sharing experience and best practices with SharePoint experts in China will be a thrill. If you see Dux ask him about our plans in Manila. We arrive in the Philippines on Friday. Apparently we’ll be spending time with the local community and receiving a first class tour of the city.
