This week marked the start of my 2009 SharePoint College Summer Tour. All Summer I’ll be visiting, consulting and training with administrators and IT professionals at universities and colleges across the country. Along the way we’ll even host a few user groups for students on campus.
We’ll explore SharePoint deployment, administration and development topics in the context of higher education. During the tour I’ll post video, tips and ideas on how SharePoint can be used by students, teachers and faculty.
The first stop is Jacksonville, Florida. This week I am working with the IT team and staff who are charged with migrating the student and staff portals to SharePoint over the summer. Look for follow-up postings, links and video on what is learned.
Our second stop will be Barry University in Miami the first week of June. Stay tuned!
